This release of OnboardMe introduces a range of new features and bug fixes. The changes are outlined below.

Multiple clients and groups on proposals

When creating or editing a proposal, Client selection now supports more than one client and a dedicated Group option, not only a single existing or new client.

What’s new

Three ways to choose who the proposal is for

In 1. Clients, you pick one of:

  • Existing: search and select one or more clients already in OnboardMe

  • New: enter details for one or more clients who are not in the system yet

  • Group: pick a Group and load its members in one step

Multiple existing clients

  • Use Add client to add extra client rows (each row must have a client selected before you add another).

  • Mark one client as Primary; that client drives the main proposal contact and related defaults.

  • Remove individual clients from the proposal when you have more than one.

  • Where your practice uses Pinch or Stripe, payment connection status is shown per client on each row.

Multiple new clients

  • Enter the primary new client (name/company, surname, email) as before.

  • Use Add Another New Client for additional people on the same proposal.

  • Remove extra new client rows individually.

Group-based proposals

  • Choose Group, then select a group from your practice list.

  • OnboardMe loads that group’s clients and, where available, signatories from the most recent proposal for that group, so you don’t have to add each member by hand.

  • In group mode you can remove clients and change which client is primary; clients are not edited or added manually on this screen (they come from the group).

Signatories and onboarding

  • The People (Signatories & Recipients) section works with all clients on the proposal.

  • With Include Onboarding enabled, onboarding can be set up for each client on the proposal, not only the first.

age functionality.

Bulk proposals

Send the same proposal template to many clients in one go. OnboardMe creates and sends each proposal in the background, using each client’s existing signatory setup where available, so you are not stepping through the wizard one client at a time.

What’s new

Bulk proposals from the Proposals page

On Proposals, use Bulk proposals (next to Bulk resend and Renewals). The button is available when you can create proposals (subscription requests or wallet balance) and you have at least one proposal template set up.

OnboardMe Recurring Billing

OnboardMe can now run recurring billing schedules for you: define the client, line items, frequency, and dates in OnboardMe, and the system creates bills on the due dates.

This is separate from Xero Repeating Invoices, which still exist when Xero Ledger is connected. Repeating invoices are created and maintained in Xero; OnboardMe Recurring Billing is managed in OnboardMe and generates standard OnboardMe bills on a schedule.

What’s new

Two ways to handle recurring invoices (you choose per proposal)

In proposal Billing, under Billing Options:

  • Include Billing — proforma bills and one-off invoicing (unchanged).

  • Xero Repeating Invoices — legacy path when Xero is connected: templates live in Xero; changes are done in Xero.

  • OnboardMe Recurring Billing — new module: schedule and line items live in OnboardMe; bills are generated automatically on each run date.

New Bills & Payments dashboard

Bills & Payments now opens on a Dashboard tab: a single place to see what you are owed, what is coming due, and jump straight into bills or payments—without opening the full tables first.

What’s new

Dashboard is the default view

When you open Bills & Payments, the Dashboard tab is selected first. Bills, Payments, and other tabs work as before; the dashboard is an overview layer on top.

The page header now reads “Billing overview, ageing, and payments” to reflect the wider scope.

New Customer Billing Portal

Clients can use a secure billing portal to confirm who they are, save or update payment details, and pay outstanding bills, without signing into OnboardMe.

What’s new

A dedicated billing portal experience for clients

Payment-related links now open a focused billing portal (not the same screen used for onboarding, proposals, or lead forms). Clients see your practice branding, have the ability to update their payment details and pay outstanding invoices.
