This release of OnboardMe introduces a range of new features and bug fixes. The changes are outlined below.

New eForm Signature Question

We've added a new Signature question to eForms to collect customer signatures when sending eForms.

When a signature question is included in an eForm, customers will be shown a Signature block for them to draw their signature into.

If the eForm has been sent to a client that has an existing signature setup in OnboardMe, the existing signature can be reused for each eForm moving forward.

This signature is included when printing eForms to PDF or saving to FYI.

New eForm Section Templates

Firms can now create their own Section Templates for eForms. This allows you to create re-usable sections that can be inserted when creating a new eForm.

Navigate to Templates / eForms and click the Section Templates tab.

Here you can see all existing Section Templates for your Business.

Creating a new section template is as easy as clicking "New section template" button, this will open the Section Template Editor.

Give your section a Name / Description / Sections + Questions.

Once your Section Template has been saved, it will be made available when creating a new section in your eForm builder.

Once a Section Template is selected, it will be inserted at your chosen point in the eForm.

Attach Emails to eForm Templates

Practices can now add an email template to the eForm template, to further reduce the time taken to create and send an eForm using Templates.

When clicking Attach email, the Invite Email for this Template modal will display and allow you to select from the eForm emails that you have set up for your Business.

Once an email has been selected you will see the Edit email or remove buttons.

When creating an eForm from a template, the email to your client will now automatically be populated with the email attached to the eForm Template.

This feature is further enhanced by the Custom Email Templates feature referenced below.

Custom Email Templates

We've made numerous improvements to the Email Templates in OnboardMe.

  • Outbound emails: Practices can tailor the subject and body of client-facing emails OnboardMe sends (Client Onboarding, Proposals, eForms, Ethical Clearance, ID Verification, and other outbound flows), so messaging matches the firm’s voice and branding.

  • Overrides vs defaults: Editing the standard template replaces text for that email name; teams can revert to the platform default when they want the original wording back.

  • New outbound templates: Practices can add their own outbound templates (category, name, starting subject), then refine the HTML body in the editor. Not only override built-in ones.

  • In-app reference: The Email Templates area includes a short guide that maps template names to the workflows they belong to (onboarding, proposals, eForms, clearances, ID verification, etc.), including country-specific wording where relevant.

Copy eForms

Practices can now copy eForms from the eForms menu.

Copying an eForm will remove Recipients and Answers and create a new Draft.

Quick Add Sections and Questions

Users can now quickly add a Section or Question by using the quick add Option between each Section or Question.

eForm review mode

When an eForm is submitted and accessed by a Practice user, the Review view will now automatically open by default.

Client Custom Field Mapping

For firms linked with XPM or FYI Elite that use custom fields, you can now see if the Custom field is linked with XPM / FYI.
