Client Onboarding

Request Accounting File Access — Enhancement

For new onboardings of non-individual entities, a new Request Accounting File Access option is now available for accounting & bookkeeping firms.

When enabled, you can enter the email address of the person you would like to invite into the client’s accounting file.

For clients, a new Accounting File Access step will be displayed during onboarding.

This step includes the following questions:
  1. Does the entity have an accounting file?
    Yes / No

    • If No, no further questions are displayed.

  2. Which accounting provider is the file with?

    • A list of available providers is shown based on your firm’s country.

  3. Is the accounting file connected to more than one bank account for bank feeds?
    Yes / No

    • If Yes, you’ll be asked to specify the number of bank accounts.

  4. How would you like to proceed with this request?

    • Add the Specified Individual

    • Get help adding the Specified Individual

When reviewing an onboarding, you will now see a summary of the Accounting File Access request, including whether the client requires assistance with inviting you to their accounting file.

Onboarding PDF and Summary — Enhancement

The Onboarding Summary and generated PDF have been enhanced to include:

  • Requested documents

  • Accounting File Access requests

Security Enhancements

Compromised Password Protection

We’ve improved account security by integrating checks against the popular Have I Been Pwned database to identify compromised passwords.

  • Passwords that have appeared in known data breaches are now blocked

  • Users are prompted to choose a more secure password during registration or password changes
